Though I did not experience growing up with my father, but was beyond blessed to have a stepfather who I can call my own...it's such a joy to see how much Mike cares and loves Kai. The love of a father is something so unique and precious I don't want either of them to take for granted the beauty of their relationship. Each day is a learning experience for me as a mom to step back and allow Mike to teach those things that only he can. So much is said and learned and I love them both for it.
