Hi there! My name is Ashlee and I live in New York with my husband, one
year old daughter and our Saint Bernard, Duke! I am the co-owner (along
with my mother) of Hold On To Your Hats. We create felt play hats to
encourage imaginative play and creativity! As a former teacher turned
stay-at-home mom, I understand the importance that imaginative play has
on the development of children. We wanted to make “pretend play” as
accessible for all children as possible. All you have to do is try on
one of our hats and you’ll be hooked!
Hold On To Your Hats opened in September of 2013 so we are in our infant
stages still but the response we have gotten thus far has been
wonderful! Our shop on Etsy sells hats dedicated to professions as well
as our ever popular animal hats! We love doing custom orders as well!
We’ve gotten some pretty neat requests and each time they come out
better than we ever imagined! We also do hat favors for birthday
parties! As I write this, we are designing and making Belle from “Beauty
and the Beast” hats for a princess themed birthday party!
For the holidays we have come out with some fun themed hats including, a
reindeer, an elf hat, and a super cute penguin with ear muffs! We ask
that all orders be completed by
December 15th to ensure delivery!
