Swap Mail!!

Do you remember this post? Well my love for happy mail and swapping spread to 12 other ladies and they joined Meg (from Mint and Arrows Shop) and I in sending something sweet and AWESOME to someone else!! Can you believe that?!?! 12 people signed up on our first one!! Meg, was not only the mind and co-host of this swap, but also my partner. I cannot tell you how excited I was to get her package tonight! Even my husband wanted in on the goods. I mean seriously, I'm still wearing my headband (it's super soft and phenomenally made).

THE GOODS
From the card, lotion, to the manicure kit (my nails and eyebrows are a hot mess!), she just out-did herself. I even got a full stock of Starbucks travel coffee! Oh and did I mention my favorite part? The wine cork and the little wine glass rings. This is where I got teary-eyed (stay with me...I'm tired and emotional). Each of the rings has something that I love or that has been a part of the designs on my mugs. A camera, a mustache, a ship rudder (the nautical theme from lovebug's party), a rose, a lock, and a heart. Can we say thoughtful? I also received two prints (they will be framed!), a mason jar I can store all of my paint pens in now, and a candle (it broke dang postal service!...but it smelled delicious).

Thank you Meg for doing this with me and spreading the word to your own network of headband addicts (which I'm on my way to becoming one) and friends who also joined in on this! As crazy as it seems to meet people on Instagram, I feel like I've found some serious valuable friendships in those I have met thus far...and you're one of them Meg. From the planning to the creating of the post for IG, you made sure it happened and it was successful. I'm excited for more adventures to come :) I can't wait to see what the rest of the ladies have received within the next week. Don't forget if you're on Instagram check out the hashtag #favthingswap2013 to post your own packages and if you have a blog share there too!!
I'm so delighted and overjoyed to have done this and I really can't wait to do the next one :)
