This year literally flew by! The fact that I was completely in awe of a new life in my arms again, to now seeing him actively thriving and enjoying what each day brings...life is crazy and wonderful like that. We didn't do the big party as I've done in the past, but a sweet and simple spread with family.
Cake, hats, and fancy paper straws! It doesn't get any better than that in my opinion. We hosted two mini cake parties today since not everyone could be together at the same time. I was able to snap some funny photos of my nephews and Kai in their hats and I'm so glad that I didn't have to stress about going over the top.
I love a great Pinterest party, but this was right up our alley. It almost made me want to become a minimalist and forsake my borderline hoarder tendencies (almost...).
Children are such a gift and to take the risk of staying home changing careers and professions was the best thing I've ever done. It's hectic, but what in life isn't? The reward is priceless. Titus has changed my life so much in just a year, I can only imagine what this year has in store as well.
Happy birthday Titus, we absolutely adore you.
